Dave Laycock – Joint owner/manager

Started working for Whitbread in 1986 and progressed to position of general manager by the age of 21. He left Whitbread in 1996, moved to Slovakia for a year (nobody knows why) then came back and joined Bass Plc (later to become Mitchells and Butlers Plc) He became an area manager for several of the different brands within the company. In 2007 he had enough of working for a faceless corporation and made the move to start his own joint business venture with Fletch. He is married with 1 baby daughter. He likes punk rock and cider.

Paul Fletcher - Joint owner/manager

Joined City Centre Restaurants in 1996 and worked as a General Manager in their Café Uno brand. In 1998 he joined Bass Plc in the role of General Manager for the All Bar One brand where he met Dave. He then swanned off around the world for a couple of years before returning to his native Shropshire. In 2003 he joined Brunning and Price and ran the Cross Foxes in Erbistock for 4 years. He is also married with 2 children and enjoys hitting big, burly men in the name of 'sport' (rugby). He likes wine and John Denver.

Hayley Davies assistant manager

Hayley is a local girl - from between Marton and Chirbury. She worked at the Herbert Arms in Chirbury for several years. She also worked at Monks Estate Agents in Knighton, but we don't hold that against her. She joined the team at the very beginning of the Lowfield and hasn't looked back. ~~She is engaged to Olly and due to get married in 2009~~. She married Olly in 2009. She likes cheap white wine and Motown.
